A Smarter, More Self-Service Marketplace Admin

This is some text inside of a div block.

As commerce media programs grow, marketplace teams need to manage more than campaigns. They need to understand whether their product data is healthy, answer performance questions quickly, and move through increasingly complex workflows without adding unnecessary operational overhead.

That’s the idea behind a set of updates to the Topsort marketplace admin: make it easier to understand what’s happening, find what you need, and take action with less friction.

The marketplace admin is getting a refreshed interface and simpler navigation, alongside two new ways to make sense of marketplace data: Catalog Health and Data Genie.

A Clearer Way to Navigate Topsort

The marketplace admin is getting a new visual system and reorganized sidebar designed to make the platform easier to navigate as more capabilities are added.

Analytics, ad formats, settings, and other areas are now grouped into a cleaner structure, with refreshed typography, spacing, colors, and navigation.

The change is focused on the admin experience itself. Campaign creation, editing, reporting, billing, permissions, and existing URLs continue to work as they do today.

That means marketplace teams get a more organized interface without having to relearn the workflows they already use.

This update applies to marketplace admins only. Vendor and agency dashboards remain unchanged.

See Whether Your Catalog Is Ready to Perform

A commerce media program is only as useful as the product data behind it.

Until now, marketplace teams could see whether a catalog feed had successfully synced, but answering a more important question — is the underlying product data actually in good shape? — often required manual analysis or support.

Catalog Health brings that visibility directly into the Products section of Topsort.

Marketplace teams can now see an overall health score and quickly identify issues across four areas:

  • Completeness, including missing brands, descriptions, images, marketplace links, prices, or GTINs.
  • Structural integrity, including category-reference errors and unresolved vendor references.
  • Informativeness, such as placeholder names, very short product titles, duplicated information, or markup in descriptions.
  • Freshness, including products or feeds that have not been updated recently.

Each area is scored and classified as healthy, warning, or critical, giving teams a faster way to understand where catalog quality may need attention.

Instead of simply confirming that data arrived, teams can start diagnosing whether that data is actually useful for advertising.

Catalog Health is automatically enabled for Topsort clients.

Go From a Data Question to an Answer Faster

Catalog Health makes one important part of marketplace data easier to understand. Data Genie extends that same idea to broader analytics.

Data Genie is the next evolution of Data Room, with a more streamlined interface built around reports.

An AI agent sits at the center of the experience, letting users ask questions in natural language and generate reports based on the data available to them.

Users can also build reports by selecting the metrics and dimensions they want to analyze, without having to understand how the underlying tables join together the way they did previously.

Data Genie also introduces more flexibility around how analytics are organized and shared. Dashboards are personal by default and can be shared with other users in the marketplace when needed.

Existing Data Room clients will be migrated to Data Genie. If you don’t already have Data Room and would like to add Data Genie, reach out to your Topsort account manager.

More Visibility, Less Operational Friction

These updates solve different problems, but they point in the same direction.

A clearer admin makes Topsort easier to navigate. Catalog Health makes product-data issues easier to identify. Data Genie makes marketplace data easier to explore.

Together, they reduce the amount of manual work required to answer basic operational questions and give marketplace teams more visibility directly inside the platform.

As commerce media becomes more sophisticated, the goal isn’t to give teams more complexity to manage. It’s to make that complexity easier to understand and act on.
